Installation of Terraces using Timber Slats on Buzon Pedestal

Use the Buzon Pedestal (P2 to P12) with support head without spacer (top pedestal without tabs) + cross dattens + small boards + stainless steel self-tightening screws.

Application

To avoid permanent moistening of the wood and frequent maintenance, it is advisable to leave a free height of 50 mm (minimum) between the waterproofing and the cross battens (pedestal P1 to P12).

Thanks to the large surface area of the head of the pedestal (175 cm2) and its thickness ( 4 mm ), the cross battens will be placed directly on the head of the pedestals using two screws.

Placing of the pedestal under the cross battens every 50 cm maximum and spacing of the cross battens every 40 or 50 cm. Fixing of the exotic timber slats wood a few millimetres (mm) distant on the cross battens using screws. The screws are visible or hidden by wooden plugs. At the points where the water flows towards the sludge lagoon, removable footboards should be used to enable maintenance and cleaning.
