This project forms part of the landmark development of the Afreximbank African Trade Centre in Abuja, Nigeria, inaugurated as the first African Trade Centre. The initiative marks a new era for intra-African trade, positioning Abuja as a strategic hub for commerce, finance, and economic cooperation across the continent.

Carried out between 2024 and 2025, the project involved the installation of a raised flooring system within a commercial environment designed to meet high standards of performance, durability, and aesthetics. A total of 1,031 adjustable pedestals, combining PB-3 and PB-4 models, were used to ensure precise leveling and long-term structural stability.

The pedestal installation was expertly executed by WNM Limited, whose technical expertise ensured accurate placement and compliance with project specifications. The system supports floor finishes in porcelain tiles and WPC (Wood Plastic Composite), selected for their strength, modern appearance, and suitability for high-traffic commercial spaces.

This solution allows for optimal load distribution, efficient surface leveling, and easy access to underfloor services, contributing to both functional efficiency and architectural excellence. The project reflects a successful collaboration between advanced building solutions and skilled local implementation, aligned with Afreximbank’s vision of fostering sustainable trade infrastructure across Africa.
