This support is installed directly on the pedestal head without tools, using the following fastening interfaces:

PB-KIT-8, for PB pedestals with a height above 28 mm;
PB-KIT-8-0-S, for PB-0-S pedestals, adjustable from 12 to 28 mm.

This simplified installation enables professionals to handle perimeter finishes more efficiently while ensuring reliable support for the surfacing elements.

The U-EDGE can stabilise cut tile sections between 2 and 14 cm wide. Its flexible tabs adapt to different wall configurations: straight walls, corners and curved contours. This versatility is particularly useful on projects where the terrace geometry requires a complex layout.

The accessory also maintains a constant 5 mm gap between the tiles and vertical surfaces. This perimeter gap encourages water circulation and drainage while preventing direct contact between the surfacing and the wall.

To improve tile stability and acoustic comfort, the use of a cushioning pad is recommended:

U-E10-EDGE, 1 mm thick;
U-E20-EDGE, 2 mm thick.

These components are placed between the support and the tile. They help stabilise the surfacing and reduce certain impact noises.

Where the site configuration requires reinforced fixing, the U-EDGE can be screwed directly into the pedestal once adjustment has been completed. This option provides additional security in areas subject to specific constraints.

U-TILES: a multifunctional solution for cut tiles and finishes

The U-TILES is a multifunctional tray designed to manage both cut tiles and edge finishes. It provides a response to the constraints encountered at terrace perimeters, in corners, along irregular contours or in areas where a finishing system needs to be considered from the installation stage.

By combining the function of a support for cut tiles with the finishing principle of the PB-END system, the U-TILES reduces the number of accessories required while maintaining considerable configuration flexibility.

The U-TILES is compatible with PB pedestals adjusted to a height of at least 50 mm. It is installed without tools using the PB-KIT-8 interface, making assembly on site easier and faster.
