The MIX Hotel Brussels project (old AXA bank), designed by architect Lionel Jadot and completed in 2023, highlights the effectiveness of Buzon pedestal solutions in a bold and contemporary hospitality environment. With 8,000 adjustable DPH pedestals installed, the project successfully combined architectural creativity with technical performance to deliver durable and refined outdoor spaces.
Performance and Precision
DPH polypropylene pedestals were selected for their strength, stability, and long-term reliability—essential qualities for a high-traffic hotel setting. The system ensures excellent load distribution while maintaining structural integrity under intensive daily use.
Thanks to their adjustable design, the DPH pedestals allowed for precise height correction, accommodating structural constraints and guaranteeing a perfectly level surface. This adaptability was key to achieving a seamless execution aligned with Lionel Jadot’s distinctive architectural vision.
Aesthetic Integration and Durability
The pink concrete slabs provided a clean and sophisticated finish, fully consistent with the contemporary identity of MIX Hotel Brussels. Beyond aesthetics, the solution improves water drainage and allows easy access to underlying technical installations, ensuring long-term durability and simplified maintenance.
This project demonstrates once again how Buzon DPH pedestals contribute to the creation of modern, functional, and visually striking hospitality spaces.
